Thanks to All of You

I didn’t mean to begin my newsletter with the Substack statement above. But it stuck itself there and wouldn’t move.

But it got me to thinking.

This newsletter is reader-supported. If no one read it, I certainly wouldn’t take the time to put one together. But you do read it, a good portion of you do, every month. In addition, it’s safe to say that a good number of you have bought at least one book.

Each and every one of you, whether you get the free newsletter or are getting some of the paid premium extras, are a supporter of my work.

I appreciate that more than you can know.

I’ve been debating giving a name to the paid subscribers, mainly because it will be less awkward when referring to each group.

I tried to think of something cute, but in the end, went with something practical. And a title for everyone.

Free members will be called Silver Supporters.
Paid members ($5 a month or $50 a year) will be Gold Supporters.
Legacy members ($140 and over) will be Platinum Supporters.

Why Am I Getting This Newsletter?

This is also a good time to talk about why you receive this newsletter because I was recently part of a large promo by CL Canon.

I want to say, Welcome, to all those who signed up on that promo to receive my newsletter. This group of new supporters brings our newsletter group number to over 4,500!

I hope you all decide to give my newsletter a try. I have a little chit chat, updates about my writing, surveys, and many book deals - sales, KU, and free giveaways!

If, however, you definitely don’t want to give it a try or have read a few of the posts and decided it just wasn’t for you, scroll to the bottom of any newsletter and select “unsubscribe”.

Even though I’ll be sad to see you go, I understand. I sometimes over-subscribe and have to let some of my newsletters go.

Soon enough it will be summer. Is that vacation time for you? I’ll put my little tidbit in here and say that we usually vacation in the Fall. But what about you?
