I think, even though it is only March in Ohio, that Spring is getting a decent hold. Being that it is Ohio, i’m sure we’ll get at least one more snow or cold snap before winter slinks off and hides for a few months.

The temp today is in the mid-fifties. Yesterday, it reached seventy. I’ll take it. I’ll take any warm days I can get.

So now I’m daydreaming of beach days and pool days, as if I have the time to lounge endlessly at either of the places. But no matter how busy I am, I hope to squeeze a few of those days in.

What I’ll be able to enjoy even more is the flowers we have growing around our townhouse. The daylillies are already peeking through the ground. I have planted some that bloom in every part of the summer. With the help of a friends who grows them, I have several different colors.

On a nice day, I like to sit on the back porch and write. The birds entertain and inspire me with their little melodies, and the flower’s explosion of colors are great to admire as I’m trying to decide which way to take a story.

What I’m Reading or Watching . . .

Since I’m not reading much right now, I decided to add an interesting and entertaining show I recently watched.

Severance on Apple TV+. It has already received 14 nominations from the Emmy Awards. It stars Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Trammel Tillman, and more. It is a sci-fi psychological thriller, according to Wikipedia.

Employees of a company agree to a severance program where their work and non-work memories are separated. The addition of a new employee sparks questions in their workmates.

This TV show is mature, mostly because of language.

(I chose to use a filter called Vidangel on most mature-rated movies and shows. If you also use it, it works on this show.

I’m not judging the show or anyone who watches it without filters. This is just my choice for me.)
